It's okay to take it once in a while - in case of acute panic attacks or whatsoever. But I think it's a very bad idea to take it on a daily base. After one to two weeks you get addicted and withdrawal symptoms are not funny.

My question is taking 0.5mg lorezepam which i do daily 1-2times a day,does it cause chance of side effects like having this really bad headache and a little dizziness, and some numbness,i feel i almost want to faint. and when i go to sleep it goes away and wake up in the mornning it starts again i feel pressure and squeezing in my head. does this all have to do with the meds, and should i stop taking them for a while, to see any changes? or should i se a doctor hopefully is not a tumor!...

ive been taking lorazepam 2mg 2x1 tablets for 2 years on and off the drug is great at relaxing you or making you feel good but dont keep taking them all the time take when really needed that way you get the full effect and u dont become dependant on them. easy said then done for some people just thought id sheir my view of lorazepam 2mg

what's the difference between ativan and klonopin?I know they're bothin the same family but ativan doesn't work AT ALL for me (I actually took about 20 mg. in a single sitting due to exegent circumstances and NADA);where as with klonopin i only need to take about 3mg every 3 days and it works 100 times better.I await your reply...thanks.

i have .5mg bottle of lorazepam. never use it. when i started it, i started feeling even worse. ended up punching my wall, kicking in my tv, and just ended up wanting to just cause serious damage to myself. thats not the type of person that i am. im a generally calm person. we all have our moments. but i mean, it felt like i completly lost it. as if i was viewing myself in 3rd person. i couldnt feel pain, or any emotion. im going to go ahead n say that the medication didnt fix my anxiety

I don't think there is any evidence either way on that but I doubt it. The sperm have already been made before the drug will effect them. Just don't take too much or you'll end up asleep, she won't like that too much :)

Babyalien83, You are wrong! The Antikonvulsiv and Anxiolytic Effect is less with alcohol only the Sedativ part works as a Potenzierung. Normal dose is 0,5- max.2,5mg in two or three times a Day. upto 10mg daily!!!! you can get that in US? here we only got 4mg daily max. As for don't drink alcohol, the 2 work hand in hand. So if you are 100% nervous, 1 beer and 1 lorazepam will see you straight, alternatives are no beers and 2 lorazepams.

except for when the dosage of codeine per Packet UoM is 8mg or less (tylenol 1s, 222s, etc). it depends on your provincial/state legeslation, i suppose. in ontario, things like tylenol 1s and 222s are available without prescription, but they are not as easily available to the public as regular tylenol is. they are behind the counter. the pharmacist must counsel/confirm that you have taken the medication before and you know what the side effects of codeine are.

Really, you should not drink at all with benzos. I know people do but there is a risk of death associated with it. The body gets too depressed, as in slows down too much, and you "forget" to breathe. It can happen with any amount of alcohol, but the occurance is rare.

TheFragile, You probably didn't really need the pills to begin with. It's so common these days. Many who take these drugs don't need them. They may be in a "rut" and, through time, they'll come out of it naturally. I've never been more "apathetic" than when severely depressed. The meds brought me out of that and I don't want to think of what would of happened without them. When you're in that state the side effects don't matter...what's the alternative?

prescription drugs only mask the root problem, that's why people who go off them have symptoms return a few years down the road. There have also been no tests (none) done to show if prescription drugs cause long term effects. Doctors claim there aren't any, which is extremely stupid since there have been no tests to prove otherwise. Pills make you apathetic, that's one conclusion I came to.

Thank you for that iformation. What you failed to talk about is the 'coming off' the drug. I have been on 12-20 drugs in the past and i have NEVER had a harder time coming off a drug. I was hospitalised for 6 weeks just to swap meds. It can be a real nasy drug to come off. There were times when I fealt as if I was actually dying. Be careful!!

I take Effexor XL 150 once daily. Main side effects were some constipation and headaches for the first week(guess when the drug built up in my system). It's good for Anxiety. Will be sure to wean off it slowly when the time comes, good tip!

Veralipridine? I had to Google it, don't know anything about it because it is not available in the US. You should have your hormones checked with a saliva test. Check estradiol, progesterone, and testosterone. In the US, ZRT Labs in Oregon is good. Check with your doctor in your country. Alprazolam should make you sleep but I'm pretty sure the problem is hormone levels. Good luck.

If anyone out there sees this please consider other medications. I tried Klonopinm, Valium etc. but this was my last resort. It helped me TREMENDOUSLY however, it made me a life long drug addict. Stupidly I decided to stop the medication "cold turkey" and on the 2nd day suffered 3 seizures. The 1st seizure made me hit my head on my bathroom hamper. When the paramedics arrived I was lying in half my own blood.

I'm not too familiar with gabapentin helping but the trazodone will help you sleep. Get yourself a pill cutter and slowly take a smaller and smaller dose. You can also try kavakava or valarian root to help you relax. Don't take it with the alprazolam though, wait until you are off it.

They CANNOT detect anything if the urine to drug ratio is too dilute. It's not one of those pickle juice/baking soda bullshit myths, it's a fact. They can't detect it if there concentration is too low. They'll reschedule you and you will go on to take another test, usually on a separate date. And there is no single test that can detect EVERY drug. There's different tests for different types of drugs.

They test for several medications/drugs. If you have a prescription, you are required to reveal the medicaation you are taking. If you didn't reveal it, and it shows up, you fail. Urine is urine whether it's watered down or not, it's usable no matter how much water, pickle juice, or baking soda you take.

I thought regular drug tests only detected illicit drugs, like Heroin, Cocaine or Marijuana, and that Pharmaceuticals were only on specialized tests. It would be a bother if people's prescriptions were triggering drug tests, wouldn't it? Anyway, point is the urine has to be USABLE in the test. If the urine is practically water, it's simply unusable, and they'll have to do another test.

Dude, if you want to pass a urine test and you know you have drugs in your system (Prescription drugs are only usually picked up by specialized tests, btw), what you need to do is Dilute your urine. Drink bottles and bottles of water before the test and make sure you have to piss ALOT. It will be diluted enough that the urine will be unusable. They will then re-schedule the test for a couple days later, by which time you should be clean. If not, simply repeat.

Oh, and it was actually Cephadyn. That was the name of the drug I took. I did a little research on this branch of drug, and my wife said cephadyn didn't have codeine or caffeine, but only acetametaphine and the narcotic butalbital(I think)...

How long will this stay in your system? My wife gave me one pill of her 40mg right before I went to sleep because I had a fever of 101.4. About 15 hours later I took a urine test and I'm wondering if I could still pass it.

Im thinking of taking this drug for recreational purposes only and ONLY onces or twice. Is it the same as vicodine? I ask because I took vicodine with alcohol and became very dizzy. hydrocodone doesnt do anything for my spinal stenosis. my doc prescribed me 15 mg of oxycodone every 4-6 hours as needed, but i only take a half about 3 or 4 times a day. ive been on it for 6 months and it is very addictive, thats why you have to be careful with it.

Same answer as below...I really can't tell you to take more than is prescribed but there is a 10/650 tablet. Still don't go more than 4000 total on the big number per day. So no more than 6 tablets per day total.

I can't tell you to take it any different than the way your doctor prescribed. But there is a 10/500 strength and the hydrocodone part is the first number. The second is acetaminophen and you shouldn't go over 4000 total for the day. Ask your doctor before doubling-up.

I had back surgery and was put on hydrocodone. I itched only the first time I took it. Have been taking it twice daily for a month, and it really works. It does make me euphoric, so I need to take care not to become addicted. The doctor said that within 2 months after the surgery I should be able to totally wean off of this drug. I tried Percocet but it made me terribly sick...mostly sick to my stomach and pounding headaches.

Thanks for this video. My father had a quadruple bypass 11 years ago and was recently prescribed Celebrex for moderate arthritis pain. I understand this drug is not indicated for those with past cardiovascular problems. Could you recommend an alternative which can be quite affective for arthritis. Appreciate your videos...I'll have my father talk to his Doctor regarding this but I am surprised he was prescribed this drug considering his medical history. Take Care.

joeey, u suck. listen to the video, he said to talk to your doctor and he also warned about side effects. specifically, celecoxib is NOT illegal, and it is an effective (albeit somewhat risky) anti-inflammatory. btw, this isn't a commercial, it's a video designed to teach. obviously, you can't learn.

I guess you're on to me. I be pimpin' and frontin' and makin' those Benjamins. I've purchased four houses from this little video alone. Drinking gas is legal but what is worse is dihydrogen monoxide. That stuff is terrible. You know, one sign of a crazy person is comparing things that are totally irrelevant, like medication and gasoline, or anti-inflammatories and flouride.
