It is sad, I feel very sorry for the people who lost loved ones. At the same time it is a little crazy how these things keep happening in the states but you guys still do nothing about reducing access to guns... it doesnt happen in the UK or Aus because we have strict gun laws. Still... very sad

I have to say that the live`s lost in Iraq were lost at a time of conflict. A life lost under any action is tragic. However this hanus crime is more tragic as these were students trying to better themselves in life. And not soldiers doing a job that they signed up for. Hello, I'm not Minh ngu khong. There was no cup of noodles, but i'm sure you meant the Ramen. The point of using ramen was, 1) i had it available, and secondly it was a GREAT example in showing how many "servings" it contained. I didn't choose it to talk about fat or sodium, even though I did make special mentions to the calories AND sodium content (you know, as a bonus). But thanks for pointing it out! :) -YHA minh

You guys are great. But if condoms don't protect you fully and you were having sex outside of relationship there would be no way of knowing truthfully whether they had an STD. In this video the guy just met the girl after not having seen her in a while so even if he did ask she could lie about it. I guess the only thing you can do is use a condom and hope for the best in that kinda situation...that or don't have sex.

I think I'm in the target age bracket for this video. I used to drink lots of pop/soda, but now I drink green tea (loose leaf sencha). For anyone trying to "quit" pop, everytime you want one, just drink tea or water. After about a week you wont get cravings for pop anymore. As for "side effects" if you're drinking a few cans of Pepsi or Coke a day, you really don't need to worry about the tea's caffine content keeping you up at night! btw, I think Steve is a drug addict! ;D

It is difficult to go in a public restroom and exit germ free. Paper towels can help but many restrooms just have a hot air blower. Faucets, door handles can present problems. It still frustrates and amazes me when a guy will walks in a public restroom, urninates, and leaves without washing his hands.

Yeah! I just heard a study- though there are so many you never know which ones to beleive- that says that simple washing with hot water and basic soap will do just as good of a job as the anti-bacterial hand sanitizers! But like many things that are markted to us, "anti-bacterial" sounds good. I totally agree that just regular basic washing is what's important- especially for anyone who makes food for other people, whether in a restauant or at home!

Thanks for bringing this point up. Too much of anything is not good and you are right, using hand sanitizer obsessively can result in damaging your skin. This would then leave you vulnerable to infection of microbes, ect... Best thing to do is wash your hands when you know they are contaminated or before eating (not every 5 minutes or something). -Paul

You should also have mentioned that hand sanitizers, such as Purell, kill off 99% of the bacteria on your skin, but also that 99% of the bacteria in ones body is good, and many help kill off bad bacteria. This means using hand sanitizers kill off the good bacteria aswell, leaving the hands less defensive against harmful bacteria.

Some people doubted I'd even be in mainstream classes in high school (I'm a junior), yet here I am, whipping the PANTS off of Algebra 1B and getting straight A's in everything else! Anyway, I regard 'Autism Awareness Month' a month of melodrama and misinformation (yes, there are some good bits of information, but the only stuff that's really accurate are the statistics, not information about Autism that are supplied by various 'organizations').

I would say that autistics are also wounderful advoactes for theselves. I think that far to many autism organazations ignore the imput of adult autistics. The best way a parent can advocate for them is to Love them unconditionally and make sure they are treated as the amzing gifts that they are!

You really should go see a dermatologist. Those acne creams at the drug store don't really help, they just waste your money. Just go see a dermatologist, it's your best bet.

They might be able to help, because they can prescribe other non OTC medications that are stronger, and maybe more suitable for your skin type. But everyone is different, and different things work for different people. So to answer your question, can a dermatologist help? Possibly. Hope that helps.... Thanks for sharing!

I've had acne or "pimples" @__@ for five years now, 10-14 and I've tried everything. Drinking 8 full cups of water a day. Sleeping early. Releaving stress. Pro-active Clinique and other products nothing works... can a dermatologist really help me?

Hey, nice video, you made me laugh. I don't have many problems with Acne, but everyday I see girls my age who have serious problems with it and they wear so much make-up to cover it that they end up increasing it...it's sad, because in this age girls usually hate their appearence, they think they're too fat, too thin, too tall, too short. There should be more information about it in schools, mine doesn't =S, thanks for sharing that information !

My nephew had really bad acne. My sister tried various medicines, but nothing worked. Someone told her that beating an egg yolk, spreading it on like a mask over the problem area & leave it on for 15 minutes helped. She didn't believe it at first but when nothing else worked Jake had to suffer the indignity of having egg on his face. Within a couple of weeks the acne was all gone. I figure there must be something anti-bacterial in the yolk...

Although from my own experience, sugar doesn't effect MY acne much - it's more stress, and horomone imbalences once a month (now that I'm in my 20's). I remember back in highschool that my face would clear up over Christmas break while I'd be eating 5 times the chocolate and sweets I would normally eat - because I'd have less stress.

Yeah, you didn't really talk much about how to prevent acne or what causes it at all. Horomones and adolescence, yes. But improper skin care (never washing your face), make up (especially if you don't wash it off), too much sugar in your diet, and STRESS causes acne too - as well as leaving your pores clogged (which goes back to washing your face/body). Nutrition also helps avoid it.

Hey, Glad you asked that question! YHA is not an all-asian team, the reason why it seems that way so far, is because the very foundation (founding members) were family members. For example, Paul and I are co-founders and invited all our family members to join. But we do have others in YHA that are non-asian, we just weren't able to put them in the video. Not to worry, around school time this fall, there will be much more diversity, since students are going back to school :) -minh YHA

Pretty much, I drank Homogenized (which is like 4.8%? We didn't have whole milk here) until I was 12, then 2% until I was 18-ish (maybe 17)... just because I know I'd add on the pounds - we easily go through 4 litres (just over a gallon) of milk every 1.45 days, sometimes in less than 24 hours at my house. Most of that milk consumption is my fault! XD What can I say, I love the stuff.

Yeah, it's true that natural animal fat is important in your diet. Not loads and heaps of it, but some is good for you. I happen to drink tons of milk though, so since I'm 22 I've cut down to 1% from 2%. I could never go for Skim, though - that tastes like water.

Yes good point about the choices of cereal, but I guess I wasn't clear enough -- I DID mention to watch out for sugar intake, and those cereals (trix, cocoa) happen to perfectly exemplify this. How are you going to use Trix and Cocoa puffs as examples...not only do they contain LOADS of sugar, they are full of artificial coloring and flavoring. Whole grain cereal w/no more than 6g sugar is healthy...cheerios, kashi, grape nuts...add a little fruit if you like the sweetness.
