Thanks Randy, You touched a lot of lives on a truth that is just so very painful to face. It's good to see how others face the end of their lives so that we can do the same and put our lives into perspective. You're not alone Randy. Wherever you are there are 6.5 billion people who are about to follow you there in short order. I hope it is a happy reunion for all of us. You were a great teacher Randy and class act till the end.

You know this nonesense started with Gavin Nuesom in 2004. Gov. Swartzanagger messed up by saying it was up to the courts to decide this issue. He had the authority and should have ordered Nuwsom to stop what he was doing. By not doing that he set the stage to let the people go to the courts to settle this matter. Even with a prop they still keep pushing this to the courts. Arnold did not show good leadership at that time. Federal court wont overturn prop 8. They wont throw out a vote.

In my opinion, we shouldn't make assumptions about what's normal as history shows us that the concept of normal changes quickly. More importantly, relegating something as NOT normal produced a lot of victims over the ages (from burning witches to starting wars over simple ideals). So opposing anything just on the grounds of it being superficially NOT NORMAL is weak argument. There are better arguments against gay marriage, and some good ones in favor of it. i understand that it is an amazing feat to do all of those things relatively well, but all I am arguing is that it is 10000000000X more entertaining to watch Usain Bolt run a 9.6 than Clay go 10.5, or Dayron Robles go 12.8 than Clay go 14.1, or Stefan Holm go 2.39 than Clay go 2.10, or...you get my drift. The reason why decathletes are "slept on" is simply because, people would rather watch mastery.

yes compared to the best, but my point is to do all of them as well as HE does them makes him great. For instance, I am a 58m plus discus thrower, but I cannot come Close to jumping 25 feet in the long jump, or running sub 10.4 in the 100. So to do all of them is GREAT. Call him an awful hurdler, but I don't think you, or most people can run 13.7 with exclusive training, let alone with 9 other events to worry about.

he does them all relatively well, not well. he isn't a great runner, he is an awful hurdler(i don't even think he cleared one), and he is mediocre at all of the field events compared to the best. It isn't fun to watch someone who is mediocre at everything, I'd rather watch someone who is GREAT at one thing.

I had a choice between playing D1 Football and D1 Track, for the Decathlon. I ultimately chose the Decathlon (which was a hard decision to make), and I compete at a big time D1 University. Compared to the Decathlon, football is certainly not that difficult, and the football players I work out with know it. I'd assume you're thinking that my football buddies are pussies, but I go to OU. The Decathlon, my friend, is the standard for pure athleticism.

Actually most decathletes are quite large. 6'5" 215-220lbs with 5% bodyfat is not unusual. The reason great decathletes do not play football is not physical.. it is a matter of preference. Football is a mob sport, therefore you don't get the full glory of a victory or the full blame for a loss. You never really know whether it was you who won or your team. In track YOU KNOW. I think the G1 is a very cool phone and T-Mobile was lucky to get it. Sprint has the Instinct, Verizon has the Blackberry Storm, At&t has the Iphone, and now T-Mobile has the G1. I don't think the G1 was made to be a rival of the Iphone. A rival phone would be a Windows or Yahoo phone that has things that the Iphone doesn't have. You can't say that this Nokia 5800 can chance to iphone 3g, there are alot of mobile touch screen that can chance iphone 3g out there like LG kc910 that have 8 megapixels with the camera ,and Samsung instinct ,or LG VU.
